3 Signals and Parameters
11 To create a scope to acquire signal data into a file o n the target P C file
system, right-click the
File Scopes node under the xP C Scopes node.
Select Add File Scope.
A scope node appears under
File Scopes. In this e xample, the new scope
is labeled
Scope 3.
By default, the software creates a file in the target PC C:\ folder. The
nameofthefiletypicallyconsistsofthescopeobjectname,
ScopeId,and
the beginning letters of the first signal added to the scope.
